SNORKELING IN SILFRA IS EXCEPTIONALLY UNIQUE

Silfra's water is some of the clearest in the world, offering visibility of up to 100 meters (almost 330 feet).

Silfra is located in Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is situated on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet.

Silfra's water is renowned for its purity, with a constant flow originating from the nearby Langjökull glacier. This glacial water undergoes natural filtration as it travels through porous lava rock, resulting in exceptionally clean and clear water.

Whether you're an experienced snorkeler or a first-timer, Silfra offers an unforgettable adventure.

Our guided tour ensures comfort and freedom of movement as you navigate Silfra's depths. With 6 mm thick drysuit providing insulation against the chilly waters (ranging from 2–4 °C or 36–39 °F), you can enjoy the experience without discomfort.
Don't forget to bring a swimsuit to wear underneath and thick socks for added warmth.
